Yahoo will reportedly poach Youtube stars for its video service i.e. Yahoo Screen

When it comes to Video Streaming services, Youtube dominates the World Wide Web. Having trillions of videos and billions of active users, Youtube owes a vast Internet community. Tech Giant, Google bought the Youtube for $1.65 billion in 2006. Some other video streaming services are also there. Talking about Dailymotion, Metacafe and Bing Videos, but Youtube has always lead the race from quite significant margin. No competitor has been able to reach the level of success as Youtube does.

However, now it seems that a serious competitor of Youtube is eyeing up. Yahoo, one of the first tech giant of Internet, is planning to take its video service i.e. Yahoo Screen at par with Youtube. At the moment, Yahoo owes a handy collection of videos. But not enough to compete with Youtube. The videos streaming section of Yahoo is now under Yahoo Screen banner.

Yahoo is reportedly planning to poach some of big Youtube Content Creators for their Yahoo Screen service. The content creators will be offered with incentives and enough money to compensate their Youtube position.  Yahoo has already reached some of the Youtube Stars. Yahoo will also offer extensive marketing tools to the content creators. The content producers will be enabled to sell their advertising along with Yahoo’s sales force.

Seems like, Yahoo is working on a strategy. After successfully giving its videos a brand recognition YAHOO SCREEN, now it has moved to next step i.e. getting more and more videos on its service. Yahoo Screen, at the moment, offers upload feature to each and every user making it an OPEN PLATFORM.

Let’s see how much successfully Yahoo implements its PLAN. The plan looks extremely good but the outcome can’t be predicted at the moment. Best of Luck YAHOOOOOO!
