Earlier this year, Yahoo released a weather app for iOS under the name ‘Yahoo Weather app’. It was for the first time that Yahoo released a weather app for iOS. Although the app does not provide detailed features however in terms of ease, it is quite simple to use. The app is considered ‘One of the Top Weather Apps for iOS’.
However, the app only supported certain iOS device i.e. iPhone. Yahoo Weather app lacks support for iPads. So after a long wait, Yahoo has updated the app. Now the apps brings support for iPads. The update brings the Yahoo Weather app to version 1.5!
The updated Yahoo Weather app is quite similar to the native iPad Weather app. The app tracks your location using your device network. The app, then, adds beautiful scenes from Flickr of your location to the background of the app and displays the weather conditions in front. For more details regarding weather i.e. future forecasts, predictions, you just need to scroll up the app.
The updated Yahoo Weather app supports both iPad displays i.e. Portrait and Landscape. This is how, the app looks like in Portrait mode:
