PlayerUnkown’s Battleground for ChromeOS on Chromebooks Hinted by Google’s AD

Its been a while since PUBG arrived on Chromebooks but it was not that good as it should have been. It was forced to run on “Low” with medium framerates. Despite having powerful processing power it kinda sucks that game performing poorly and grainy. To make things worse, PUBG Mobile has still kept real keyboard support as an afterthought only allowing ASDW buttons to actually do anything in the game and it seems that PlayerUnkown’s Battleground for ChromeOS is finally getting official support.

Google just released a hilarious commercial mocking Microsoft Windows and MacOS for their ingrained bugs and crashes. They also showed PUBG running on a Pixelbook for a few seconds at the end of the video which I will post below.

This showed the capabilities of the ChromeOS by flashing a few apps. Most of the time Google commercial highlight a particular service or app, that service or app is about to get some very prominent Chrome OS treatment.

At the end of the video, it seems to like run PUBG which I believe that, is hinted to be able to finally getting support for ChromeOS. People seem to run PUBG on Chromebooks via Bluestacks. Bluestacks is an emulator through which you are able to run mobile apps on your PC and there was no official support for PlayerUnkown’s Battleground for ChromeOS despite being launched for Chromebook.
