Pegatron to produce 15 percent of all units of iPhone 6

For weeks now, we have been getting loads of rumors and leaks regarding iPhone 6. Recently, some snapshots of iPhone 6 dummy popped out. As learnt earlier, Apple’s new iPhone will make its debut in two sizes i.e. 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. The later one is expected to be termed as ’iPhone Air’. Both the iPhone 6 models release is reportedly delayed due to unavailability of slim batteries.

According to a report from Taiwan’s Industrial and Commercial Times, Pegatron has been ordered to prepare 15 percent of all units of iPhone 6. Pegatron has now emerged as a major holder of Apple’s supply chain. Previously, the company was given charge of producing iPhone 5C. This indicates the Apple’s massive diversification of its supply chain in recent years.

Apple’s supply chain rumors, Apple will deliver a 4.7-inch iPhone in the third quarter, the market is also optimistic about the size of enlarged iPhone, expected to create a new wave of buying boom, and the master also won about 15% of new iPhone orders, is expected to begin in September of goods, coupled with the old iPhone 4S, iPhone 5C, estimated this year’s iPhone Pegatron point total shipments of 50 million units, compared to 3,500 million units last year, a significant growth of 40%.

Foxconn is another major Apple supplier. However, it is not confirmed yet that whether it gets the whole rest percentage. Or, Apple increases the share of Pegatron. But one thing for sure, we are not getting iPhone 6 sooner than Fall.
