Accessories for mobile phones and tablets are highly likely to surface when the demand of the particular device is sky high. And when we talk about Apple, well there is nothing much to discuss about it because Apple does its homework before releasing a device in the market. Now developers find something unique, something that could enhance the quality of a certain hardware or software for that matter. What we have today is OlloClip lens.
OlloClip, which is an accessory maker, recently announced that it will be releasing a 4-in-1 lens for iPad. OlloClip lens for iPad debuted this year at CES. OlloClip for iPad is a clip-on camera accessory, more of a lens as mentioned earlier. The clip-on lens increases the capabilities of the camera significantly. The features that the lens gives are fish-eye, wide angle and two macro modes. The lens has an elegant design, engineered to slide on and off the tablet with ease.
The tablet version of OlloClip lens is compatible with the iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display and iPad mini. Tablet version I say? That because the iPhone and iPod touch versions of the lens are already available in the market. The project started a year ago as a kickstarter project. The project was a great success and only because of that, the iPad has been honored for the OlloClip lens.
The OlloClip lens has been tested has proven to be a worthy accessory. The fisheye lens captures an approximately of 180° field of view. The wide angle almost doubles the canvas of the camera and macro modes have been found great for close up shots.
The OlloClip is now open for pre orders and it is priced at $69.99. Two colors options are being provided, black and white.
