Couple of months back, Apple released the much awaited iOS 8. With iOS 8, Apple opened its gates for third party apps and widgets. For the first time, the users are able to use custom keyboards and widgets on iPhone. Not only this, Touch ID can now also be used for third party apps without requiring to JAILBREAK. Recently, Apple has released a major update iOS 8.1 which bring more enhancements and improvements. But what about iOS 9? What can we expect from the future iOS? Well, this new iOS 9 concept by an engineer Ralph Theodory has suggested some of the features that we can expect in it.
Search in Settings:
According to iOS 9 concept, the users will be able to search any stuff in Settings app. It will make it easier for the new users to get familiar with the iOS.
History in Settings:
Apple may add history in Settings app. It means any change or modification will be recorded. So that, you can revert back to the original settings if you forget anything.
Color Look:
The users can experience different color schemes for their user interface. It will definitely make your iOS look prettier than before.
Night Mode:
Just press Home button thrice and go in Night mode. Here, your white menu background will turn ‘black’. This will make the display light hence not pinching your eyes.
Settings Everywhere:
From the App Switcher, the users will be able to see settings of any app by just swiping down on it.
Close all Running Apps:
No need of jailbreak tweak! With iOS 9, you will be able to kill all your background apps by just a single tap.
SIRI Spell:
The users will be able to help SIRI in recognizing some words which it does not know. SIRI will ask users to spell them out for it.
SpringBoard Display Types – Round SpringBoard:
As per this iOS 9 concept, the new OS will offer three types of SpringsBoards i.e. Normal, Zoomed and the Rounded Apple Watch like Home screen.
Language Auto Playlists:
Your iPhone will recognize the language of your music track and will place it under a set playlist. This will be done automatically.
New Music features:
Music app will be improved. Just swipe up from the bottom of the Now Playing screen, you will find options for ‘Set as Ringtone’, ‘Equalizer’ and more.
Smart Sleep Mode:
If you are listening to tracks, after every five tracks SIRI will check will use ‘I am asleep’ feature. You need to respond either by pressing a button or answer via the hands-free microphone. Otherwise, the music playback will be stopped in case of no response within 10 seconds.
Smart Shuffle:
Want to listen some new songs based on your interests? Well, Smart Shuffle will certainly do the job. It will search the Internet for songs based on your environment i.e. time, weather, your movement and occasions.
New Video Feed:
The default Video app will now list feeds from various video streaming apps i.e. YouTube, DailyMotion etc on your iOS device.
Lock Screen Clock:
With iOS 9, you will be able to customize your Lock screen with third party widgets and custom watch faces.
Learn:
As per Theodory, Tips app will get a new name ‘Learn’. It will teach you how to get most out of your new iOS device.
Support:
Struck somewhere? Well, this app will have the solution to your problems. Also, it will feature Genius Remote Appointment.
Button Control:
More control for the users! They can now change the button behavior. Also, they can add new virtual buttons on the screen.
Bug Report:
All the beta versions of iOS will come with a bug reporter in Supports app.
Accessories:
This tool will check if your attached accessory is working correct with your iPhone or iPad.
Hardware:
This app will enable you to perform diagnostic tests for all hardware components and sensors.
Genius Bar:
The remote diagnostic tests will detect your iPhone and iPad problems remotely. Just open the app, diagnose and know the device troubles.
