The first Mega Man game is now 30 years old and it began what is undoubtedly one of the most important platforming franchises in the history of video games. Mega Man X came out in 1993, which is known as Rockman X in Japan, took the franchise in a different direction, with a faster-paced gameplay and introducing different gameplay elements including dash, scaling walls, and armor upgrades. Capcom released Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 that contained Mega Man 1-6 on August 25, 2015, and was released on various platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows (via Steam), and 2016 for Nintendo 3DS, similarly Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 including 7-10 were released on various platforms on August 8, 2017. Both these collections have been announced to make their way to Nintendo Switch this year. Now it seems that the Mega Man X series is getting collected editions as well, both Mega Max X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 have been rated. Details below

Capcom has rated both Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 on the Australian Rating Board
While Capcom hasn’t made any official announcements other than that the collection(s), will be coming out this year. It will be interesting to see how the titles are divided into both collections, which there are a total of 8.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection are usually packed with many add-ons, including high-resolution concept art and history of the series, with an HD finish, challenge mode and the game is developed on the Eclipse engine.
Mega Man on Nintendo Switch
Both legacy collections of Mega Man and Mega Man X will be available on Nintendo Switch, making it easier for fans of the portable device to play most of the franchise on the go.
