The discussion regarding iOS 8 has now become a hot topic during one week of its release. Why should it not? For the first time ever, Apple has allowed the features which it never ought to. A long list of 3rd party support features have been added in the iOS. iOS 8 will allow you to install 3rd party widgets and keyboards. Since iOS 7, Apple Touch ID could only be used for built-in default apps. But now with iOS 8, you will be able to use Touch ID with other apps too. You can find out all the iOS 8 features here. It seems that this is not going to end here! A hidden setting leak indicates the possibility of Control Center customization!

Control Center customization means you will be able to add, remove and reorder the toggles. Till now, iOS has lacked this support. A jailbreak tweak, however, does the purpose to some extent. The leak has come from an iOS developer @HamzaSood. The developer has previously also indicated the hidden setting of iOS 7 i.e. support for nested folders, built-in apps, LinkedIn integration and Touch ID. Out of which, only the last one turned true. Have a look on his tweet indicating Control Center customization setting:

This is not only what the developer has leaked. He also has got a hidden setting for lock screen extensions. Here is the tweet:

So both the Control Center customization and the lock screen one are quite demanded features of the users. You may have a question, why would Apple make the code available to the developers? The question is reasonably valid. Maybe the setting is accidentally leaked or it is just the developer’s brag! This will definitely by confirmed at the iOS 8 official roll out.

If not in iOS 8, we can hope to get these features i.e. Control Center customization and lock screen extensions in future updates. You want both these features surely. Are not you?
