Flappy Bird game went to the top at the start of this year. The users started becoming addicted to it. The game downloads reached 50 million mark at the App Store. Same was the case at Android Store too. The game was simple apparently! But when it comes to make score in it, it was really a difficult task. The gamers started posting their social statuses regarding their high scores whenever they achieved it.
The developer of the game named Dong Nguyen started earning a lot from the game. Its daily ad revenue reached to $50,000. Despite of this so much popularity, the developer finally removed the game from both Android and Apple Store. This was because of continuous public attention that really frustrated the developer.
Still, the game did not lose its popularity. Later on, we saw the phones with having Flappy Birds installed selling at relatively higher prices. Many clones of the game also came. Even, the famous developer Rovio came up with a game that’s resembles Flappy Bird. The game was named as ‘Retry’. We also brought you some ways to install the ‘removed’ game on your device. Meanwhile, Dong Nguyen also announced to bring the game back but no date was mentioned.
