Final Fantasy XV PC Requirements was a curious affair, but now it has been laid to rest.
Final Fantasy XV’s PC version was announced a few months ago by Square Enix, following the massive success on the console, while Final Fantasy XV PC Requirements were a mystery, we now know what the ideal system requirements are.
Final Fantasy XV is a truly curious specimen when it comes to its development. This and The Last Guardian were two games that were originally completely different games, shown at various points in time but soon news and presence of them being alluring mysteries.
It wasn’t until the reveal of the PS4 that the trailers soon returned, and soon both games that were thought to be lost to the sands of time, made their presence known on the console (now if only Rockstar’s Agent can be brought back from the dead too).
Final Fantasy XV’s story is one that spans a movie, an anime, and then the core game itself. The story follows Prince Noctis and his royal guards who protect him from a coup that has led to the death of his father, King Regis. We follow Noctis and his friends on a journey of revenge and salvation, as the rightful heir tries to take back his throne.
The game continues to have a very healthy online community despite not being intended for such in the first place, and there are continued expansions for the game such as a PSVR fishing game, a mobile game, and multiplayer which will be coming to the main game in a few short weeks.
With all of this in mind, Final Fantasy XV shows no signs of slowing down, as the developers have stated that there are further content plans detailed as far as 2018.
It was only a few hours ago that the Microsoft Store got a first look at the official specifications for the game to run on Windows systems.
Considering the massive scale and size of the game, I can easily see that an i7 and a 1060 GTX are justifiable requirements for the game. PC Players are especially ecstatic about the game since 4K and 60 FPS have been confirmed, but the real question remains if the 1060 GTX is capable of running such a game at 4K / 60 FPS?
Square has released benchmarks tool prior to their games releases as is the case with Final Fantasy XIV, so perhaps a benchmark tool for fans to put the game to the test isn’t far off?
As you can see, the game is absolutely breath taking at 4K and combat becomes a whole other level of chaotic at 60 FPS, offering some of the most dynamic and fluid movement any other game has ever offered.
While an official release date and hard drive requirements are still amiss from the store listing, there is still plenty of time for the studio to spill the beans.
It is good to see that an update to the game, especially something as important as system requirements.
With all of this in mind, let us know your thoughts about the game in the comments section below! Are you excited for the PC version?
