Denuvo Vs. Pirates!
There has been a huge war between anti-tamper techs like Denuvo and crackers notably, CPY and FCKDRM. For those who are unaware of what a Denuvo protection is, Denuvo is a company which provides anti-temper technology for software development companies to not let people pirate it in any way. Denuvo initially claimed that their tech is not crackable and pirated proved them wrong. Heck, even prior to two days of release the crack of Hitman 2 along with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was released proving that any game can be cracked. Some of the games, however, took their time to get cracked like Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Technology might be getting advanced and how much a secure a software seems it can always be exploited in some way or another and this war of anti-temper vs piracy will not stop unless every game will become Free-to-play which nobody in their right mind will believe that it will happen.
