Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled Nintendo Switch Pre-Orders Vanishing – Will The Switch Miss The 1st Lap?
In the original announcement of the game, the remaster was promised to all the consoles on the market with the PC version being absent. While it is understood that the PC version will arrive late, there is now news that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version are disappearing from major retail sites.
Sites like Amazon, Argos and other big video game retailers have removed the Nintendo Switch version, but the game is still listed on Nintendo’s own website.
On Crash Bandicoot’s own website, the Nintendo Switch version only has the option of Coming Soon while the Xbox One and PS4 versions offer you options for sites to pre-order the game on.
This has made fans speculate that the Nintendo Switch version could be stealth postponed or put on hiatus.
A similar instance occurred in July of this year with Redout for the Nintendo Switch. The game was announced for the console, the pre-orders begin to disappear and then the game just vanished. The developers have stated that the game isn’t canceled but the has yet to make any appearance.
Canceled or Hiatus? Time will tell.
Currently we don’t know if Activision canceled the game or put it on HIatus for the Nintendo Switch. All seems well for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, while the Nintendo Switch version seems to be going through troubled waters. We will have to wait for more details to come to surface.
