The latest leaks tells us that the there is an unofficial Apple ID which therefore acts as an official email, which comes with a header “Your Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons!” A little more information is provided that leads to an unofficial link that when clicked can lead you to an untrusted destination and can harm you for sure. The purpose of such unauthorized access is to get your Apple ID account. When you click the “Verify Now” link in the email it actually takes to the page where all your information is being handed over to a specific party holder and you can lose your account.
When worked on where the email is being generated and where the email is being taking us so the place that popped up was Tokelau in South Pacific and we are pretty much sure that Apple is not doing such kind of operation there. Moreover, whenever Apple generates a mail for you, it’s from United States. To be more exact in figures Tokelau region was doing this phishing from many year sand a record was hold by them in 2010 when they almost did phishing scam for a record of 20%.
