Sparrow makes the whole experience an astounding journey and an example of bringing characters to life in a way in which only Depp can. The first three films are entertaining and interesting with conflicts of emotions and treason, loyalty and friendship.  The fourth loses a little bit of the charm of the previous. Fingers crossed for the fifth installment!

Verdict:

Very moving and emotional. Touches the heart of even the most stonehearted. Warm and cold story of how a woman is capable of almost anything to protect her family. Susan Sarandon’s performance is nothing short of Oscar worthy, this is the real deal and India’s lame attempt at it with We Are Family couldn’t come close to the level of precision when it comes to delivering emotion.

Good as this was its sequel in 2013 couldn’t uphold its standards. Based in a really creepy, abandoned physiatric hospital, it will scare the hell out of you. Caution: Avoid watching at night!
