This could indicate that the app is coming on November 8th for the Nintendo console and if it is true, many fans will be pleasantly pleased to hear the news.
While the details of the YouTube app are not available. We can hope that there is support for HD video, Proper touch integration and possibly controlling the app using the JoyCon or motion control.
Confirmation on the delivery of the app or even from Nintendo or YouTube themselves is still lacking, but considering the discovery is only recent, we can expect an announcement to happen very soon.
We can now wait out for more media apps like Netflix and Amazon to appear on the app for people who do have other subscription plans. These media apps are commonplace on Nintendo’s competitor consoles so Nintendo will have to bring them to the Switch to properly incentivize purchasers. Especially when portability is the biggest advantage Nintendo has over the competition.
Nintendo has quite a busy couple of months ahead of them. With the upcoming release of Pokemon Lets Go: Pikachu and Pokemon Lets Go: Eevee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December. The company is looking to have a LOT of people using their consoles in the coming months.
YouTube for the Nintendo Switch could prove to be a potential game changer for the console as it will add a level of convenience to players. If you are stuck on a certain point in any game you can just browse the app from the Switch and get useful guides, information and more without needing to go to your PC or smartphone.
