After the massive success of both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami on PC, SEGA has taken great interest in PC as a solid platform for their releases. Now Yakuza Kiwami 2 for PC has been rated officially.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 for PC
Yakuza Kiwami 2 has been rated on ESRB for PC, you can see the listing here. Here’s a screenshot about the description and various themes in it.
The game is obviously very violent as it revolves around the extremely dangerous Yakuza gang. The game is a full remake of Yakuza 2 that came out on PS2. Yakuza 3 onwards will release on PS4 as remasters instead of full remakes like Yakuza 1 and 2. SEGA’s interest in PC as a platform is evident with them releasing titles like Catherine, Yakuza, Bayonetta, Vanquish and more games that at times only came out on consoles.
Steam has very positive ratings for each title and people are very happy with how well the games run on PC. The performance is great on even older machines despite the game looking very good. Both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami can be bought from the links below for Steam.
Despite being full remakes, the games are priced at $20 and go on sale quite often. We expect Yakuza Kiwami 2 to be priced the same when it finally becomes available for pre-order.
This rating pretty much confirms that the game is headed to PC, and if it follows the trend of previous releases, it will come out on Steam.
