Yakuza 3 Demo for PS4 is now available in Asia with Details

If you’re unaware of SEGA’s plans for the Yakuza franchise, you’ll be glad to know that SEGA has announced that all Yakuza games are headed to PS4 and some of them even on PC as well. Now Yakuza 3 Demo for PS4 is available for Asian users, check out the details below.

Yakuza 3 Demo for PS4

A demo for Yakuza 3, which came out on the PS3 back in 2009 is now available for PS Asia, you can get it here. It should be noted that this is a remaster instead of the remake treatment the first two installments of the game were given for the PS4, but given how the game is only one generation behind, it wouldn’t really make sense for SEGA to work on a remake after 2 remakes already.

“This is a trial version of PS4™ software “Ryu ga Gotoku 3” (released August 9, 2018).
You can play for free at the end of Chapter 1.
The save data in the trial can be transferable after purchasing the full game.
Enjoy the rest of the full”

So from the description, we know that that you’ll be able to play the first Chapter of the game and your progress will be carried over should you buy the full game.

The demo size 5.59 GB and it is in Chinese for now. The full game is headed to the PS4 on 9th August 2018.
