XIII was a highly underrated shooter that launched at the end of 2003. Made and published by Ubisoft, XIII was among the first games to use the cell-shading art style for video games beautifully and with the help of XIII Remake, we get to experience the game once more.
XIII Remake – Retelling a conspiracy
XIII was a significantly overlooked FPS that offered a superb cast of characters, an unforgettable story, and was among the first FPS games to allow you to choose between playing stealthily or guns blazing. There were many other great aspects to the original but some fans felt that the game was ahead of its time.
With the Remake being published by PlayMagic and published by Microids, the game is getting a second chance and the opportunity of becoming a part of history once more.
XIII puts you in the shoes of a man who wakes up with nothing but a key and a mysterious tattoo that says XIII. The game pits you against mercenaries and an array of bosses set to stop you from finding out who you are and unraveling a major conspiracy.
The game will also have a multiplayer mode which hasn’t had details shared yet, but the original game mode offered Team Deathwatch and Capture The Flag among other game modes.
The game holds its original cell-shaded graphics style to heart and is what will make the game stand out when it does release.

The game is set to release on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac on November 10th 2020.
