Story Line:
The X-Men film series consists of superhero films based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name.
The Movie is the continuity of X-men Days of Future Past in which Professor X sends Wolverine to the past in an effort to alter the past and prevent humans and mutants from destruction.
In December 2013, director Bryan Singer announced the upcoming X-Men film, titled X-Men: Apocalypse. Acting as a sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past, it will be released on May 27, 2016. Singer, Kinberg, Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty are working vigorously on the film. According to Singer, it will focus on the origin of the mutants and it will be “more of a First Class sequel. Kinberg stated that it will take place in the past as we are going to show the rise of mutants. McAvoy, Fassbender, Hoult, Lawrence, and Evan Peters will reprise their roles in a more Refreshing way with powerful acting skills, while “some of the original cast” will return. There are Rumors about Hugh Jackman & Channing Tatum that they will be playing their roles as Wolverine and Gambit respectively. But that will be a surprise for the viewers. Let’s hope that this rumor may actually turns into reality.
The more exciting thing is that we will be seeing the younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm in the film.
According to Simon Kinberg, Apocalypse is the darkest villain in the series: “In the X-Men there really are two leaders: Eric/Magneto his Brotherhood and Professor Xavier and his X-Men. Apocalypse presents a new, a super-charismatic leader that will draw people to his cause. But he’s not just somebody who’s out there destroying the world because he can. What he’s doing is – in his mind – justified and validated by a really compelling, coherent philosophy.
Ratings:
As X-men Apocalypse is not released yet so we will reserve the rating of IMDB & Metascore here. But I will rate this movie 4.5/5.
