Within the Cosmos is an upcoming single-player first-person sci-fi RPG developed and published by debdev. With an emphasis on exploration and narrative, you’ll go through various planets and find answers to who attacked you and your crew. Now the Within the Cosmos Release Date for PC has been confirmed.
The game is currently only coming to PC via Steam, and no console plans have been revealed yet.
Within the Cosmos Release Date
The game is headed to PC on August 16th, 2019. The game is priced at $14.99 and you can add it to your wishlist here.
If you’re interested in how the game looks and plays, here’s some gameplay footage.
We’re interested to see what the game brings to the genre, as a very similar title by Obsidian is coming out later next year, called “The Outer Worlds”.
The developers have shared that the game will take around 14-15 hours to complete, and for the price point, it seems pretty reasonable. The quality of the content, however, will be judged when the game is actually out.
You can follow more news and content through their Twitter account as well.
The game will also feature weapon customization, perks, and a bunch of factions as well. The game promises to put an emphasis on choices, where you can talk your way out, or use stealth as well.
Console release hasn’t been discussed yet, but we’re sure if the game does well, it will eventually make it’s way there as well.
Within the Cosmos System Requirements
The developers haven’t shared the system requirements yet, but we’re hoping for them to be updated very soon, as the game is coming out in a few days.
