WhatsApp is, no doubt, the most popular instant messenger available for multiple platforms. According to a recent report, it now has more than 400 million active users. This number is more than the number of active users on Twitter. WhatsApp for Windows Phone has, recently, received a major update. The update enables its users to send/receive videos. It does not mean that you can instantly record and send video messages to others. WhatsApp has access to the ‘Camera Roll’ only so any video recorded by your phone’s camera can be sent to other users.
Moreover, Nokia is working with WhatsApp to bring more and more features to its Windows Phone version. The above mentioned feature is currently not available in any other app than WhatsApp. Moreover, you can now send multiple files at once. Other features in this update includes saving video files which are received. Some general bug fixes are included too.
