Ubisoft has just released a teaser trailer on their Twitter account showing a possible new Far Cry 2019 game. The game will be a Far Cry 5 sequel. More details will be released at The Game Awards 2018.
Ubisoft Teases A New Far Cry 2019 Game
Ubisoft just dropped a new teaser trailer for their new Far Cry game on Twitter as well as on YouTube. Check out the trailer first:
Story Speculation
The story which we can see in the teaser seems to set in a world after some kind of nuclear war. Much likely Fallout type but in a Ubisoft way. Nothing much besides the blast was revealed but a person, which could be our main protagonist holding a self-made weapon. This could mean there will be customizations, especially weapon customizations which all of the Far Cry games lack. We could collect resources from the environment to create our weapons to survive.
This game could be huge as people would definitely enjoy an FPS post-war game like Fallout but with better graphics and game. Don’t get me wrong, Fallout series is amazing and I don’t think any post-war game can take its place but it is nice to have something similar by different developers.
Tune in for worldwide reveal tomorrow!
This is all my mere speculation I can be wrong but the trailer does suggest the stuff I mentioned below. All of our questions will be answered tomorrow at the worldwide reveal of the game in which they will announce the game story, release date, and other details. You can also expect more at The Game Awards 2018 which will be held on 7th December, 2 days from now. Ubisoft is surely quick in releasing AAA title as they released Far Cry 5 this year and there is a possibility this Far Cry 2019 game might actually come in 2020. what do you think?
