Ubisoft has officially announced a digital streaming event called Ubisoft Forward for 2020. The event will feature new announcements and reveals for upcoming titles. It will also include details of already announced games that were supposed to come out this year.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, traditional game conferences are out of the picture, and digital events will be the way of moving forward until things get better. This initiative has been taken by multiple publishers, and Ubisoft has also joined the cause.
Ubisoft Forward Announced
The conference will be hosted by Ubisoft on July 12, 2020, at 12 PM PDT/9 PM CEST. This conference will be E3 styled, and include new game reveals, showcase already revealed titles, and much more.
More and more publishers will be hosting their own events, and we’ll see next-generation games, and consoles very soon. Geoff Keighley has also announced the Summer of Gaming event, which will run from May to August. It will also include a variety of announcements from multiple publishers.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The latest entry in the long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and is set in the Viking era. A new trailer featuring in-engine footage was shown at the recent Inside Xbox event, give it a look below.
This title is coming to the current generation, as well as next-generation consoles. Meaning players can experience it on Xbox One, PS4, as well the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Xbox owners can also make use of Smart Delivery and only buy it once. They will automatically receive an update on their next-generation console for this game, without having to pay twice.
