Square Enix has published three titles of the Tomb Raider reboot series on the last and current generation consoles and PC. All these titles were developed by Crystal Dynamics, and they have moved on to Marvel’s Avengers for now. Now it seems, that we might be getting an announcement for a collection of the reboot series in the form of Tomb Raider Ultimate Experience.
We would love to see where Square Enix decides to take the franchise next, after the last entry. Tomb Raider is one of the most iconic gaming characters, and the IP is always full of potential.
Tomb Raider Ultimate Experience Rated
Square Enix has rated T.R.U.E. TOMB RAIDER ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE on Justia Trademarks. You can visit the listing at the following link. We have taken a screenshot just in case.
Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the collection will include the rebooted trilogy. It could be that they are bringing classic titles to current generation consoles. However, it would make more sense to release a collection with all the rebooted titles, as all of those are already available on PS4/XBOX/PC.
Square Enix hasn’t publicly announced anything regarding this, but we might get some info at some event very soon. Microsoft’s event is on July 23rd, and it’s possible that Square might show up there. Previously Square also announced that they won’t have their own event, but announce the news on an individual basis. This was true for the last Avengers stream as well.
These collections are usually priced way less than the individual prices of each game. These come with all the extra content as well. Square Enix has a bunch of titles coming out this year and has already announced a new title for next-generation consoles as well.
