The Day Before is an upcoming third-person open-world MMO survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. It is being developed by FNTASTIC and published by MYTONA. The title has a very unique setting for an MMO, and even though there are many post-apocalyptic open-world games, there aren’t many MMOs. For now, the game has been announced for PC only, and there is a launch trailer, as well as a Steam page. Now, The Day Before System Requirements have been revealed as well.
The game features infected beings, as well as survivors that have taken arms against each other for food and shelter. We are excited to see how the game develops further, and it is supposedly coming out in the first quarter of 2021. The game features similar gameplay to The Last of Us, but with a focus on multiplayer elements.
The Day Before System Requirements
To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications
Minimum Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 / AMD FX-6300
- Memory: 10 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 75 GB available space
Recommended Requirements
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 75 GB available space
Based on these requirements, it is pretty clear that the game isn’t very demanding. It does require a decent CPU, but something like an RX 580 should be good enough to play at higher settings. Players will require 75 GB of free disk space, which as we’ve seen has started to become a norm in AAA titles. 16 GB of RAM is also recommended, and Windows 7 is supported.
Since this is an MMO, a constant internet connection is required to interact with the game world.
The Day Before on Steam
You can now add the game to your wishlist on Steam. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
We are excited to see what the developers bring to the MMO table and see how they can create a living breathing world. There is an obvious inspiration from The Last of Us and The Division, but hopefully, there is enough original content to make it stand out. There isn’t an exact release date yet, but hopefully, it will come out sooner than late.
