Super Smash Bros Ultimate Day 1 Patch – Surprise Spirits enter the game
Nintendo did reveal earlier that you can get bonus spirits in Super Smash Bros Ultimate if you have Lets Go Pikachu and/or Eevee save data present on the switch, but the unofficial patch notes suggest that the patch might also contain spirits for Mario Party characters.
According to data miners the unofficial changelog of the patch contains:
- Added Mario Party Spirits.
- Added Pikachu and Eevee Spirits from Let’s Go
There was also rumor that the Day 1 patch would unlock a bonus mode which doesn’t seem to be present in this patch in particular, perhaps Nintendo might push an update on the game’s release or in the week to follow?
The game will be available globally on the 7th of December which is when you can play your copies of the game on the Nintendo Switch. The game did get leaked early by leaked ROM’s and there have been spoilers for the World of Light game mode for quite some time, but if you have made it this far with avoiding the spoilers, then congratulations!
