It was in May of this year that the game appeared on the Korean Rating board since then the game went completely silent. In a new update the game has resurfaced and has appeared in an ESRB rating for the PC. This could only mean a PC version is definitely on the horizon.
Sunset Overdrive for PC is finally happening – Again
While it has been a long time since we heard anything on Sunset Overdrive, some good news has finally surfaced. The game has finally gotten a rating on the Entertainment Software Rating Board. This means that it is now passing certification for the US Markets.
Sunset Overdrive was developed by Insomniac Games for the Xbox One and while the reception was good, the disappointing sales number meant that the game would lose a potential for a sequel. Many fans were disappointed with the news and it was unfortunate.
A PC version means that now you can enjoy the game better than ever with improved graphics, better FPS and many other details.
Unfortunately, we have no details to share regarding the release date. It has been 7 months since the last update we had on the game and for it to resurface like this could mean that Microsoft is gearing up an announcement very soon.
While we have no other news to share regarding the system requirements or other aspects. We can be sure that the game will be sold through the Windows store exclusively.
A potential for a sequel would be most welcome if the PC sales prove that the game does still have a market for the niche, but that’s only hoping.
Whatever will happen for the game, we can only hope that we hear more details about the price, DLC bundled, and release date from Microsoft very soon on the game.
