It has been a great time for the DC Universe followers this past month. There is a lot of information pouring out about all the DC related superheroes. But what is this? This may not be a welcomed sight by the fans. It seems that every superhero in the known DC universe will appear in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Well every superhero, except for the Green Arrow portrayed by Stephen Amell.
Despite of all the rumors, actor Stephen Amell does not have any existence in Zack Snyder’s “Batman V Superman,” according to the man himself. The Arrow star took to Facebook to let it be known that he has nothing to do in the upcoming superhero movie. He was quite loud an clear about it. These are his official words:
“I appreciate all the support and enthusiasm, but not everything I post is a cryptic indicator that I’m going to be in Batman V Superman,” he wrote to his fans. “I’m not going to be in Batman V Superman.”
So if all you die hard Batman v Superman fans want to go really tough on Stephen Amell then might as well argue about the “V”. Yes that’s true. He says “Batman V Superman” which exactly is not the film’s title. It’s “Batman v Superman” with a lowercase “v”. Let the flame inside you consume you until you desperate wait to see Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen up against Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne.
And also judging from all the news, Amell is not likely to pop up in “Dawn of Justice” He is too much busy with “Arrow” which is entering its season three on The CW. About that, Stephen Amell says that playing Oliver Queen on the small-scale is more than enough reward.
“Arrow” returns on October 8, with “Batman v Superman” arriving on May 6, 2016.
