Square Enix’s Last Idea the upcoming smartphone game is planned to launch on April 18th. The game was hinted in November 2018.

Back in November 2018, we’ve covered an article on a possible new series by Square Enix called Last Idea. At the start, it was just a name which was trademarked by the company. After a few months, it was revealed that it will be a smartphone game without any release date. On Friday, Square Enix announced the release date for the game and it is not that far away.

Square Enix’s Last Idea Details

The game will be an action RPG hack-and-slash battle system using the “smart command” interface. The game will also feature player customization like most of the RPGs.

Synopsis

The game follows a novice treasure hunter, the protagonist, and a mysterious amnesiac girl named Lucrecia. In the beginning, the protagonist goes to an abandoned castle on an island to follow a lead given to them by a fortune teller friend. Upon their arrival, an earthquake hits and darkness comes out from the ground and shrouds the sky. Monsters lay siege to the castle, and there’s a girl on the balcony who looks like she is about to be attacked.

Release Date
