2018 has been a phenomenal year for Sony, with the highest selling games of the year, as well as earning critical acclaim for each exclusive including Spider-Man, God of War and Tetris Effect, it seems 2018 is going to be a hard year to top, but it’s possible that the Death Stranding Release Date may have been hinted by Sony in a new video.
Death Stranding Release Date Release Date Hinted?
Earlier today, PlayStation Europe shared a video, titled “Coming Attractions”, check it out below
Now, you might be thinking this is just a video that’s showcasing all their upcoming titles, but out of all the games mentioned here, only 3 of them have unconfirmed release dates, the rest are all coming to PlayStation this year. Does Death Stranding being shown in this video indicate that we’re going to be able to play Kojima’s next game, this year?
There are more hints shared by people working on the game, Norman Reedus who is playing the main protagonist, supposedly, shared in a podcast that the game might be headed this year as well.
Kojima also said that 2019 could be the year of the whale, and that could strongly suggest that the game is releasing sometime this year. Even one of the cast members, Tommy Earl Jenkins commented on the Release Date.
For now all of this is speculation, and based on this new video, we only hope that it turns out to be true, but for now, there is still no official confirmation when the game will come out, but production is going steadily as Kojima has shared many times.
We’re excited not only for Death Stranding but a lot of PlayStation exclusives including Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us Part II.
