Finally, a long wait has come to an end today. Microsoft has now made group video calling FREE on Skype. Skype users have been demanding the service free for many years. And now, finally, Microsoft has fulfilled the demand.
Probably this is because of the growing competition between messengers. Google Hangout is already offering group video calling free of cost. This, definitely, was creating immense pressure on Microsoft to make its service free too. Therefore, to win the competition, Microsoft has made the service ‘non-paid’. Previously, you need to have $8.99 monthly subscription to get your hands on this service i.e. Group Video Calling. The subscription was also limited to just some number of calls. Afterward, you were required to pay $4.99 for each single group video call.
Now, with the help of this service, you can have a group video call up to 10 people. Initially, Group Video Calling service is made free on Windows Desktop, Xbox and Mac platform. However, Skype’s Phillip Snalune has promised to make the service free on all platforms in coming days.
Call your dear ones, have family chats, gupshup with friends, conferences, meetings and do lot more now with Skype Free Group Video Calling.
