Shenmue 1 and 2 are classic titles from SEGA, that came out on Dreamcast and Xbox. These have been re-released on current generation consoles including Xbox One and PS4, and also on PC. While the games didn’t exactly get the whole special edition, limited edition treatment per se, Shenmue fans in France can now rejoice as Shenmue I & II Collector’s Edition have been announced.
Shenmue I & II Collector’s Edition
Pix’n Love is a French company that publishes books related to video games including art books and guides have announced a very special edition for Shenmue I & II.
The Collector’s Edition will contain the following items
- A copy of the game
- A cardboard box with silver effect
- Four lithographs
- An 80-page “The Art of Shenmue I & II” book with hardcover (A5 format)

Shenmue I & II Collector’s EditionThis is everything a regular Collector’s Edition contains as well and we’re glad to see that Shenmue is finally getting that treatment.
The pricing for this has not been revealed yet but the release period has been confirmed for the end of this year, an exact date hasn’t been provided.
Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition will open on Wednesday, October 3 at noon (Paris time). This edition is available only for Xbox One and PS4 and not on PC, which Shenmue I & II are available through Steam.
