Tokyo Game Show commonly referred to as TGS, is an annual video game convention held in September in the Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan. The event is primarily attended by Japanese video game developers show off their upcoming titles, however, each year a certain number of international developers also make an appearance. The show is out together by Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) and Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. TGS runs for 4 consecutive days, first 2 of which are not open to the public. Moreover, just recently, the website for TGS 2019 just went up and we finally have the SEGA TGS 2019 Games lineup.
Every year as is custom, Sega updates their TGS website with details regarding the video game titles that are to be displayed that year. This yearé website just went up and a total of 4 titles have so far been confirmed.
SEGA TGS 2019 Games Announced On Official Website
The website currently only shows the main page and the booth map page, on the main page the following four titles have been confirmed.
- Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (Switch)
- Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game (PS4, Switch)
- Persona 5 Royal (PS4)
- Project Sakura Wars (PS4)
As you can see, so far, only Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 games have been confirmed, however, there is still in the actual event which will run from 12 to 15 September so keep an eye out on an updated list.
Sega’s full lineup along with a schedule of stage events, merchandise, and photo opportunities are yet to be announced on their website.
