Samsung is going to release its next flagship i.e. the Samsung Galaxy S5 this year. There are lot of rumors taking place for last few months about release date and specifications of the flagship. Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to announce on MWC 2014 which is going to take place at the end of next month. So, according to rumors, Galaxy S5 will be available in March. SamMobile has got some “confirmation” about the specifications of Galaxy S5.
Here are some of the expected specifications of Samsung Galaxy S5:
- Quad HD (2,560×1,440) Super AMOLED display
- Exynos 6 / Snapdragon 805 processor
- 16-Megapixel Camera
- Android 4.4 KitKat
So, Samsung will break the barriers of full HD screens and will release its latest flagship with Quad HD display. In the result, the screen will be more sharper and will give more pixel density. 16MP camera is enough for a flagship, not to mention Nokia’s 41MP sensor as it was focused mainly on photography. And of course it will have Android 4.4 out of the box.
The display size of device is not mentioned but it should be between 5-5.2 inches as last flagship Galaxy S4 has a 5.0 inches display.
RAM is also not mentioned but we expect it to be 3 GB at least. Moreover, according to other rumors, Galaxy S5 will be available in both metal and plastic casing. You’ll have to pay $150 more to get a metal one. Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom and Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini are also expected by the mid of this year as both versions of previous flagship were also released.
