A couple of months ago we did an article on what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 models would be codenamed. Today, we have confirmation as to what the actual names of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 Variants would be. As we know Samsung plans on releasing three distinct models for Galaxy S10 with varying features.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Variants Leaked: S10 Plus, S10 Lite
Right of the bat, we have what appears to be two leaked Samsung Galaxy S10 variants, the S10 Plus and the S10 Lite. Intuitively we know that the S10 Plus would be the full-fledged model sporting all the high-end specs with no compromises. On the contrary, the S10 Lite would be the more budget-friendly option intended to compete with the likes of iPhone XR.
As for the leak, the tweet by iceuniverse which leaked this info has been deleted for unknown reasons but fortunately thanks to Reddit the info was preserved in time.
As per the speculations, the cheapest model that is the S10 Lite would probably feature a single camera module on the back while the standard Galaxy S10 would feature a dual camera setup on the back. As for the top end model, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, it is speculated that the phone would most likely feature a tri-camera setup on the back.
As for the display size, it is said that the Standard S10 and the S10 lite will feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen. While the S10 Plus would feature an enormous 6.44-inch display. Recently we covered the first ever 5G capable phone that is hitting the markets soon, the question is would the S10 feature a 5G connectivity option. According to rumors, the S10 Plus would indeed feature such an option however not all the models as it would depend on which carrier you are getting the phone from.
We also know that all the Samsung Galaxy S10 variants will be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8150, or Samsung’s Exynos 9820. Both of which are 7nm FinFET technology enabled. The new 7nm processors will help power efficiency and an overall performance boost over the current gen processors.
