The wait is finally over, Samsung officially announced Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked today. Both phones come with excellent hardware and amazing features.
The next Note, The Galaxy Note 5 comes with 5.7 inches display with a resolution of 440×2560 pixels. Yes, these are a lot of pixels. There is a 16 MP camera on the back which is capable of recording 4K videos right out of the box. IT packs a 4GB RAM for smooth and fast multitasking and lag free gaming experience. It supports fingerprint sensor and comes with a 3000 mAh battery. Internal memory is 32 GB or 64 GB and there is no Micro SD card slot. So it is better to get the 64 GB version as 32 GB is not enough keeping the specifications of the phone in mind.
The Galaxy S6 edge + comes with almost same specifications. The only main difference is that the S6 edge+’s screen is curvy. It has got the same screen size and same screen resolution. Even the camera is same. Both phones come with Exynos 7420 chipset which has Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 processors. The GPU is Mali-T760MP8.
Both phones come with same capacity batteries. Both will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. Both phones got fingerprint sensor and the same amount of storage and RAM.
There is one interesting thing that Samsung introduced this time. You can now live stream the video on YouTube from your native camera application. This might be the a great selling point for these two devices. You will be able to set a time of live stream and you can either publically live stream them or you can just stream them to invited people only.
Both phones will be available on August 21.
