Samsung has been trying to capture the budget-friendly market of Android smartphones in the developing countries with its J series of smartphones. The J series are entry-level Android smartphones that don’t have all the thrills and frills of higher end flagships but still gets the job done for the minimal amount of cost. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus and J4 Plus are two such phones that are meant for the “millennials”. It is evident that the low price point is the selling feature of the two phones as the prices have just been announced for the Indian market. You will be surprised to know the J6 Plus Price considering it has dual cameras and other remarkable specs.
Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6 Plus Price
As announced, the Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus Price is 15,990 INR and the J4 Plus is 10,990 INR. These are some of the lowest prices you will find for an Android smartphone from a reputable manufacturer. As stated by Samsung the goal here is to offer new design and somewhat new features at a price point that will be easily afforded by young students and those who are not too tech savvy and just want the basic functionality of an Android smartphone without breaking the bank.

the two phones will feature a nice 6 inch HD display and a glass finish with reflective back cover. The CPU chip that will run the two phones is a Snapdragon 425, the battery would be a 3,300 mAH. As for the OS, both phones will come equipped with Android Oreo right off the box. The Galaxy J6 Plus will be available with 4GB RAM/64GB storage and the Galaxy J4+ with 2GB RAM/32GB storage. The J6 Plus will also come equipped with a fingerprint sensor, however, the same can’t be said for the J4 Plus.
In the camera department, The Galaxy J6 Plus has a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera which is quite surprising considering the price of the phone. The Galaxy J4 Plus will feature a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera as expected.
Galaxy J6 Plus and Galaxy J4 Plus Colors and Availability
The Galaxy J6 Plus will be available in red, black and blue colors for INR 15,990 (~$220) as previously mentioned. Whereas, Samsung will sell the Galaxy J4 Plus in gold, black and blue for INR 10,990 (~$150). You will be able to buy both the phones from 25th September onwards online and from countrywide retailers.
