Telltales The Walking Dead is set to see its final season later this year as the long journey finally comes to an end. The final season has been previously confirmed on Nintendo Switch via a teaser trailer but a recent product listing on Mediamarkt.se suggests that we could have The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 for Switch as well.

While there is no official confirmation from Telltale games for The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 for Switch, we see game studios do this all the time. Older entries in a series are ported to a newer system along with their new release so that players can enjoy the entire series on one platform. Telltale games has already confirmed Batman and Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy on Switch so it would make sense that they do the same for one of their biggest properties.
Telltale Games will likely have a panel set up during next months San diego-Comic con which would be the perfect place to make the reveal of The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2 for Switch along with details about the final season. The final season will initially release on the Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC on August 14, 2018 and later this year for Nintendo Switch.
Telltale games shook the gaming world with their emotionally powerful first two seasons. Having them on Switch would make this one of the most accessible ways to play the iconic series for fans of the series. Players on the Nintendo Switch will now be able to fully understand the context for the struggles of clementine in the final season as they play through the first two seasons in preparation.
