It’s has been more than 5 years since the last Splinter Cell game came. Not a single news or a rumor was revealed besides the Walmart Canada list leak which was supposed to be announced at E3. The list included a new Splinter Cell game for 2018 but was not revealed by Microsoft or Ubisoft at all. A Canadian insider suggests with his Tweet that Splinter Cell 2018 could be announced at X018.
Splinter Cell 2018 and Wallmart Leak
A few months ago Walmart posted a list online which leaked many anticipated games, as tons of highly demanded sequels and games are suddenly listed on the website. The list was 95% correct and it was like a gamers dream came true to get to know the upcoming hot titles for 2018. One of the leaked games was Splinter Cell but not a single speck of news was shared on E3 or any event.
Canadian Insider’s Tweet Hints at the new Splinter Cell
The first thing to remember that the Microsoft event which will be held on next month, November in Mexico. The person which I am talking about, the Canadian Insider that in the past had already anticipated the acquisition of new studies by Microsoft and now has posted a Tweet which gives us a very clear hint of the possible announcement of the next Splinter Cell’s installment
I just heard that Sam Fisher was taking spanish lesson right now in Westmount. Seem that he could be reading for is next mission in M*X*CO.

M*X*CO obviously refers to MEXICO, the thing that piqued my interest is why he replaced XO with asterisks and after reading Sam Fisher it becomes quite clear that Xbox might introduce a new Splinter Cell game in their upcoming X018 event. Coincidently the X018 event will be held from 10-11 November. The game might be announced at the Xbox event but a thing which might bug you, “Why X018?”. Well, there is only 1 answer to this question that the game could possibly be Microsoft exclusive or might have some type of Microsoft exclusivity. Microsoft has previously made an exclusive Splinter cell game, conviction on the 360 and PC.
Same also made appearances in 2 games, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands as a playable character and in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey you can see his third echelon night vision goggles which makes me want to believe there is a strong probability of an announcement of this game on X018. This is, however, a speculation. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments down below about Rodney’s tweet.
