It has been more than 5 years since Sony released its commercially successful PlayStation 4 and it has outsold its competitors with a huge margin. As of now, 81 million PS4 units have been shipped so far. Sony has been hinting about their next generation console for quite some time and we know it is coming not that soon but it won’t be releasing late either. Just now we get our hands on images of a possible PlayStation 5 Prototype!

Without a doubt, Sony would be feeling glad about PS4 both exclusive wise and sales wise as it did exceptionally well compared to its competitors i.e. Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and the gap between the unit sales is so vast that it is really impossible to cover it until the rival companies come up with something crazy. We all have been waiting for any news on PS5 and we don’t even know what it looks like until now. Some images on the internet appeared which showed a PlayStation 5 prototype. You may be thinking that it would be fake or something, you can say that for yourself after having a look at the images below:
When It will be released?
The image came from an anonymous source but these look real, at least to me. You can check out other articles on PS5 about specifications and possible release date. Rumors do suggest that the console will be arriving in 2020 but recent rumors suggest that Sony might release their upcoming console in 2019 as they did not mention a confirmed release date.
