Skate is skateboarding video game franchise that has been developed by EA Black Box and has been published by Electronic Arts, the first game came out in 2007 and the last game released back in 2010, fans have been eagerly waiting for a sequel.Now, Skate 4 has apparently been listed for pre-order, yeap, you read that right, the highly requested sequel to the highly acclaimed skating game might just be getting announced soon as Skate 4 on PS4 has been listed. Webhallen, a Swedish retailer website has listed Skate 4 for the PS4 and the game is up for Pre-order, you can check out the screenshot below
Well, that’s pretty much it, you can see the webpage for the game listing here. If there is, in fact, a new Skate game coming out, fans of the franchise will be over the moon as the franchise has been highly successful after the Tony Hawk games, and fans of the genre have been dying to play a well-made skating game.
There’s also a release date on the site, according to it, the game is set to release in 2019, this could be a placeholder date, but considering there is literally no real announcement, or reveal for the game, it’s possible that the game will be coming out next year, if there even is a game.

There’s something to note here, all three skate games have been developed by EA Black Box, the developers are known for some Need for Speed games as well, so it’s unclear that which developers will be working on this title, it’s possible that Criterion games could be working on it, considering they have been making Need for Speed titles and are famous for their award-winning Burnout series.
