Prey is a first-person shooter video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game originally came out in 2017 and is similar to titles like System Shock and Bioshock. It is one of the last few titles keeping the immersive sim genre alive, and we’d love to see more from it. Now, Prey VR Edition has been listed and could be coming soon.
For now, this is in the rumor territory, so take this with a grain of salt. Most of these listings do end up being true however, so there is a chance for that.
Prey VR Edition Leaked
If you head over to the following listing on ShopTo, you will get the listing for Prey VR. We have taken a screenshot for it, in-case it gets removed. Check that out below
Bethesda or Arkane Studios hasn’t officially announced anything yet, however, a few days ago it was Arkane’s 20th Anniversary. The timing lines up with this listing, and we could see an announcement very soon.
Previous Bethesda titles like DOOM 2016, and Skyrim, both received VR versions of the titles as well. This leaked listing is for the PSVR edition, but both DOOM VR and Skyrim VR editions released on PC via Steam as well.
Prey is a fantastic title, and we’d love to see a VR version for it. An already immersive title would only be better in VR. We really hope to see a sequel for it in the future and hope more people play the original. Arkane is one of the best developers in the industry, and their work in the past decade has been nothing but exceptional.
