For now, take this listing with a grain of salt, as it could mean nothing. However, what’s interesting to note here is that Banjo-Kazooie has “working title” mentioned, meaning it could be a brand new game instead of a remaster.
Both Banjo and Kazooie are headed to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and it’s been one of the best reveals at E3. We do believe that something related to the franchise is in development, and that announcement at E3 probably means something more than just new playable fighters.
Nintendo hasn’t officially announced anything related to Banjo-Kazooie for the Switch other than the Smash characters, so we’ll wait for an official announcement, and keep this in rumor territory till then.
Banjo-Kazooie for Nintendo Switch Release Date
According to the listing, the game is coming to Switch this year and will be available on 31st December 2019. This is most likely a placeholder date for whatever product this is.
Banjo-Kazooie is one of the best games that came out on the N64, and its legacy has been honored by Nintendo at e3. We hope to finally see a revival of the franchise and hope that this listing means something. It’d be a shame if all we have is a title from the N64, that most people probably can’t enjoy anymore.
