The enhanced version Root Letter: Last Answer of the original novel adventure game by Kadokawa is coming to Nintendo Switch and PS4 for the West.
Root Letter also stylized as √Letter is a 2016 visual adventure novel game developed and published by Kadokawa games in Japan. The game was released worldwide in 2017. The worldwide edition of the game was developed by PQube. The company has announced on their official Twitter account that Root Letter: Last Answer is planned to release on PS4 and Nintendo Switch for the west.

Root Letter: Last Answer Coming Soon To West

When a letter is delivered 15 years late – you discover an old pen-friend was involved in a murder, before she disappeared.
Travelling to her hometown, you must investigate the murder, using her past letters as clues to uncover the disturbing truth. Using Visual Novel and investigative gameplay elements, Root Letter elevates the Visual Novel genre to a whole new level.

Root Letter: Last Answer is the enhanced version of the original adventure novel game. The game was released in June 2016 for PS4, PSVita and was released on Microsoft Windows via Steam on 31st March 2017. The enhanced version is planned to release in 2019. It is not, however, confirmed that the game will include the original 2016 version of the game.
