We’re all still unaware of what the new Rocksteady game is, what it’s Release Date or any sort of valid information there is regarding the project. Rocksteady is insistent on keeping things tightly knit for now and as it turns out Rocksteady’s Unannounced Game won’t be showing up at San Diego Comic-Con as well, check out the details below.
Rocksteady’s Unannounced Game’s Appearance at SDCC
We all want the new Rocksteady game to be a Superman game, and that’s everyone’s first guess as well, based on some leaks that have not be validated or a general expectation considering how long it’s been working with Batman games, and it’s an organic step forward to move to an insanely ambitious title that has yet to have an awesome game, given the Arkham level of attention.
The closest thing we’ve gotten to Superman in a modern video game is in the Injustice franchise, where he’s the main antagonist. Another sad thing to mention here, is that there will be no MK or Injustice announcement at SDCC as well, as Ed Boon tweeted out
Just in case people start-a-speculatin…@NetherRealm ain’t showing anything at ComicCon. I really just wanted to know who was going.

Similarly, Rocksteady’s Studio Director and Co founder Jamie Walker tweeted
Inb4 people start asking about whether @RocksteadyGames will be at SDCC this year: we’d love to be there but won’t be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet. You’ll know when it’s time.

That pretty much says it all, nor NetherRealm or Rocksteady Games will be making their appearance at SDCC, or atleast not reveal or announce anything related to their current on-going projects.
It’s sad for every DC fan or Netherrealm fighting game, but it also shows how these studios are working hard to make their products worth our time, we all know how bad the release of Arkham Knight was, and how it badly hurt sales, that at one point, people were actually given the option to refund the game on Steam, given how bad it’s performance was, I should add that if you’re interested in checking it out now, it runs fairly well.
What do you think Rocksteady’s unannounced game is going to be? Are you sad that they’re not making an appearance at SDCC? Let us know in the comments below.
