E3 2018 was a disappointment as far as Rocksteady Games is concerned. However, after the developer revealed that it was simply not ready to announce anything yet, fans although heartbroken accepted it. But there may exist pretence of a good news. At the very least, progress is being made. Jamie Walker, the studio director announced in a Twitter post that the developer has reached “another milestone.” Jamie Walker shared the news, and photos from the celebration, in this particular Twitter post.
Rocksteady has recently been posting about new career opportunities, so this boast of progress could mean a number of things. Maybe new employees were successfully brought in. Or maybe the team is celebrating their benchmark for the new game. If previous rumors are taken into account, the star of the game may be a certain someone we all may know as the Man of Steel.

Some rumors suggest that the game is called Superman: World’s Finest and will most likely be set in the Arkhamverse. Purported marketing materials support the claims. However, in a world where fan art can sometimes look better than official products, all speculation, regardless of believability, should be taken with a grain of salt.
Whatever the cause for celebration, Rocksteady remains quiet about it and unwilling to open up. It is good that the team is able to have a good time, though. Developing a game, Superman, Justice League, or not, can’t be an easy task, especially if it seems everyone in the multiverse is trying to get a peek over your shoulder.
