Record 1080p 60fps Video on HTC U11

HTC U11

Most of us have heard of the squeezable phone, HTC U11. The smartphone launched back in May, comes with a 5.5 inch QHD display and a 12 MP Dual-Pixel camera. This device is powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, and a 3,000 mAh battery. But, the thing that is the most unique and eye-catching about this phone is that it has a squeezable frame. This frame can act as an app shortcut, to summon AI assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

HTC has announced previously that the smartphone would get an update that would enable 1080p 60FPS recording. The time has finally come! HTC said on Twitter that the system update will be coming out, “over the next couple of months to devices everywhere.” This sure does sound like a lot of time to wait, and we probably have carriers to thank for that. So far. we know that the update has already reached the Hong Kong U11.

As many of us know, 60FPS means that we will be able to see 60 rendered frames per second instead of the previous 30, which would result in a much seamless and smother video. You can either install the update manually onto your phone, or wait a couple of months for it and have it come to your device. After that, you would be able to go to the camera settings on your phone and make use of the amazing update for better video shot on your phone.

Besides the recording improvements, the update will also contain various “system enhancements” and the August security patches.
