Realme, the subsidiary of OPPO, is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has risen to prominence due to their budget-friendly feature-packed Android phones. As you can see above the phone offers all the essentials that one could expect of a budget Android phone in 2019. Starting off with the looks, the phone has a nice 6.22-inch thin bezel display with a water drop notch at the top. There is a bit of a chin at the bottom but it is nothing substantial and can be expected of a budget phone.
My only real gripe with the phone would be the resolution with is too low for the size of the display. The resolution translates to a mere 270 PPI which will show up close. other than that, the phone seems to have ample CPU and GPU power along with RAM.
Most of all, the Realme 3 offers a substantial battery. The battery is rated at 4230 mAh. Even in some top tier flagships the battery often times does not exceed 3500 mAh.
Moreover, the phone also has a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack which sadly is a feature in 2019. The option of expandable storage is also there. On top of all that, the phone also has dual sim and dual camera setup on the back.
The camera won’t be anything to write home about but given the price point, it is still laudable that you get a 2MP depth sensor on top of the 13 MP main sensor. The most exciting feature of the camera is perhaps the nightscape mode which deliver clear and bright photos in Night time.
Realme 3 Release Date and Price in Pakistan
According to a press release issued yesterday, the company will be launching its latest smartphone on 15th April in Lahore. The phone will retail for around 20,000 PKR, however, a difference of a couple thousand is expected. Realme 3 is looking to be a great choice in the budget market.
