There are two methods you can use to solve this issue. Here they are:
Option 1: Factory Data Reset Google Pixel 2
Step #1. Go to Settings on your smartphone, and tap on System.
Step #2. Tap on Reset, and then on Factory Data Reset.
Step #3. Tap on Reset Phone, and let your phone get to work and erase everything.
This will delete all the data on your device. This includes all your apps, photos, videos, contacts, Google accounts, etc. Hence, before factory resetting your smartphone, make sure you have made a successful backup of all your important data.
Option 2: Clear Cache Partition on Google Pixel 2
Step #1. Turn off your Google Pixel 2, and boot it in recovery mode. To do that, press and hold volume down + power button simultaneously until you feel the phone vibrating.
Step #2. When in recovery mode, use the volume buttons to go through the options. And, use the power to select an option.
Step #3. Scroll through the options until you find Wipe Cache Partition. Then, select Wipe All User Data option. This process of clearing all cache may take up to 4-5 minutes.
Step #4. Once the cache is wiped, reboot your phone.
