Project Cars 3 is an upcoming racing game developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This is the latest entry in the popular racing simulation franchise. Now the Project Cars 3 System Requirements have been officially revealed through Steam.

We are excited to see the direction this franchise has taken, and how it can improve on it’s existing formula. There are a bunch of racing titles coming out this year, including the cross-generation title Dirt 5.

Project Cars 3 System Requirements

To run this title on PC, you need the following specifications

Minimum

  • OS: Window 10 (+ specific versions of 7)
  • Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5 3450 or 4.0 GHz AMD FX-8350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 680 or equivalent
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Direct X compatible sound card
  • Additional Notes: For VR or triple screen use, GTX 980 or equivalent

Recommended

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel i7 8700k or AMD Ryzen 7 2700K
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD RX5700
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 50 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card
  • Additional Notes: For VR or triple screen use, GTX 980 or equivalent

Based on these, you will need a fairly beefy system to max out the title. The minimum requirements aren’t that high, but we’re assuming the recommended settings are for 4K. Either way, you need an i5 at least to get the title running, and at least 8 GB RAM.

You also need 50 GB of storage space for the game files, and that could increase over time. Windows 7 also has limited support so we recommend Windows 10. You won’t run into compatibility issues if you are on the latest Windows version.
